After R4i Gold team split into R4ids.cn and R4ids.com at the early 2010. The r4ids.com released R4i Gold V2.0 card for Nintendo 3DS/DSi / DS Lite. The R4i Gold Card V2.0 can run AKAIO Firmware.

It seems that R4i Gold V2.0 is not popular .  r4ids.com released a brand new enhanced R4i Gold Card since 30th August ,2011 -- R4i Gold Plus . it's the upgrade version of R4i Gold  V2.0. It's compatible with lasted Nintendo 3DS V2.1 , DSi /DSi XL V1.4.3 /DS Lite /DS. The R4i Gold Plus support all Nitendo latest games. While the game loading speed is faster , the power consumation is very low .

The R4i Gold Plus bring a revolution for R4i / R4 Cards -- R4i Gold Plus Deluxe version coming with firmware write ,which can renew R4i Gold firmware without DS Console and get free from system block error .
